Information you hand over

Whether you ring the line or type into the form, a request normally holds your name, a phone number, an email address, the street address of the building in Lake Charles, Sulphur, Westlake, Moss Bluff or a town nearby, and your own account of the mold or water problem there. Pictures you attach stay on file with that request.

Calls to (337) 570-2420 are picked up by an AI voice assistant that an outside voice-AI company runs. It writes down the caller's name and number, the property address and the problem so that someone can ring back, and for that purpose the call may be recorded and turned into a transcript. If talking to an automated system does not suit you, the callback form or an email does the same job.

Information the server notes by itself

Each visit to moldexpertslakecharles.com leaves an ordinary server record: the visiting IP address, the kind of browser, the pages opened and the address of the page you came from. Those records feed overall visit counts and security logs and nothing else.

Why the information is used

Your contact details and your description of the problem are used to set up a visit to the property, to get a written scope and price in your hands, and to keep in touch about that job afterward. Louisiana law (La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23)) does not let one company both assess and remediate mold on the same property, so the assessment visit comes from an independent firm and any removal is priced and done by a separate remediation contractor. When a homeowner's insurance claim pays for the job, the paperwork goes to your adjuster once you tell us to send it.

Lake Charles Mold Experts does not sell personal information, and it does not use it for retargeting ads that follow you away from this website.

Who else sees it

A request goes only to the people who carry out the assessment or the remediation at that property. An insurance-ready report reaches your adjuster only on your say-so. Ordinary outside services also play a part: web hosting, email delivery and phone carriage, the voice-AI provider included, and each of them handles your details only as far as its own task requires.

How long it is kept

Inquiry records and quote paperwork stay on file for seven years, which leaves room for an insurer to look at a claim again and for later work on the same property. Server logs are deleted after 90 days.

What you can ask for

You may ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, have anything wrong in it fixed, or have your records erased, except where a legal retention rule says they must stay. Send the request to contact@moldexpertslakecharles.com or make it by phone on (337) 570-2420.
