Every complaint counts

Every complaint is taken seriously. If an assessment, a remediation job or water damage restoration arranged through this site for a home in Lake Charles, Sulphur or elsewhere in Calcasieu Parish falls short of what you expected, Lake Charles Mold Experts wants to hear it. Complaints show where the work has to get better, and they help protect the next homeowner in the parish.

Three ways to make a complaint

  • Email. Write to contact@moldexpertslakecharles.com with the word COMPLAINT in the subject line. Give the property address, the date the work was done and what went wrong.
  • Phone. Call (337) 570-2420. An AI voice assistant answers the line. Say you are calling with a complaint and it is written down during the call, together with your name, your number and the property address, for the person who handles complaints.
  • Post. Prefer paper? Email to request the postal address, and you will be given it.

The office keeps hours Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the phone line takes a complaint at any hour.

What happens once a complaint arrives

  1. Receipt confirmed. You are told the complaint has arrived within two business days.
  2. The facts checked. The written scope and the other paperwork on file are reviewed, and where it is needed a second visit to the property is booked to confirm the problem.
  3. A written reply. Within fifteen business days you receive a written answer that sets out the findings and any corrective work on offer.
  4. If you are still unhappy. That is put in writing as well, so you hold a clear record of what was offered.

What a complaint can be about

  • How well an assessment or a remediation job was carried out.
  • Communication, such as an appointment nobody kept or a call that was never returned.
  • Billing, where the final bill and the quoted work do not agree.
  • How any person who visited the property behaved.

When it cannot be settled

If the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, all of your rights under Louisiana law remain intact, and the written reply documents what was offered. For copies of anything on file, ring (337) 570-2420.

No retaliation

A complaint never counts against you. Making one has no effect on whether you can be served again later.

How long complaint records are kept

Complaint records stay on file for seven years, and you may ask to see yours at any point.
