AI Disclosure
A plain account of the AI tools behind Lake Charles Mold Experts: the automated voice on (337) 570-2420, the illustrations, the drafting of page text, and the jobs that stay entirely in human hands.
Last updated: 2026-10-11.
The reason for this disclosure
People deserve to be told when software, rather than a person, wrote what they are reading or is talking to them on a call. Each AI system in use is named below together with its job, so that you can weigh that for yourself.
Who answers (337) 570-2420
An AI voice assistant, operated through an outside voice-AI provider, picks up every call to the number. Its job is to collect the caller's name, the number to ring back, the property address and a description of the problem so that a call back can follow, and to that end calls may be recorded and transcribed. Anyone who would rather not deal with an automated system can send the callback form on this site, or email contact@moldexpertslakecharles.com.
The images
Every picture on the site is an illustration generated with Google's Gemini image models. A picture shows the sort of room, building or damage that a page discusses, a soaked crawl space or a water-stained ceiling for instance; none is a photograph of an actual job or address.
The page text
Service pages, price breakdowns, question-and-answer sections, summaries of regulations and descriptions of how jobs run are drafted with the help of large language models, or LLMs: AI systems that produce text by predicting likely next words from the surrounding context. Examples include Claude from Anthropic, GPT from OpenAI and Gemini from Google, and the model or provider in use may change as tools develop.
No drafted page goes live until a person has reviewed it. The models are a drafting and research aid that never has the last word, and visitors' personal information is never put in front of them.
Work done without AI
- On-site findings. Moisture meter readings, thermal camera images, visual checks and lab sampling are carried out and interpreted by the people who visit the property.
- Assessment and removal. An independent assessment firm and a different remediation contractor do these jobs, since La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23) bars one company from both on the same property. Each firm's own people write its scopes, quotes and reports.
- Reports for insurers. A person writes anything sent to your adjuster, based on the findings at the property.
- Prices and decisions. No algorithm chooses whether to take on your job, what to charge or when to schedule it.
Going beyond the minimum
Federal and state consumer protection rules increasingly call for AI involvement in commercial content and services to be disclosed. In the view of the Federal Trade Commission, failing to reveal material use of AI may amount to deception. This page sets out to disclose broadly and in detail rather than to clear the bare minimum. Should you come across a page or an interaction here where AI was involved and this page says nothing about it, write to contact@moldexpertslakecharles.com so the disclosure can be brought up to date.
Reporting errors
If something on the site is wrong, or reads as if AI produced it in a way that could give a false impression, email contact@moldexpertslakecharles.com. Corrections follow once the point is checked, and every such note is appreciated.
Request a Callback
Easier to type than to talk, or calling late in the evening? Fill in the boxes below and the call back comes to you.
Would a phone call suit you better? Ring (337) 570-2420 at any hour and leave the address and what you have found; a call back follows.
Is there mold in a house you own or rent?
The assistant on (337) 570-2420 takes the details at any hour, and the callback boxes higher up the page work without a phone call.
